Taco Boy's is the real deal and very happy we decided to stop in on the way to a concert. We knew right away this place was legit and the food smelled awesome as soon as we walked in. I ordered two chicken burritos fajita style and they were amazing. The vegetables were obviously fresh and the cheese was spread perfectly throughout the burrito. Sometimes you get a burrito where the cheese is only in certain sections and it ruins the flavor. Everything was made to order and the prices were reasonable. It does tend to get busy during events and peak hours so plan accordingly. This place is a gem in the West Valley and worth checking out!

Joel Hansen did a food challenge here, so when we drove past, we had to stop and get some food. It was so packed with people, so bring your patience. We ordered tacos. They had 6 different tacos so we ordered one of each. They had condiments cart which made it convenient to choose your own toppings. The tacos were really tasty; probably one of the best we ever had. The meat was so delicious and they give you plenty of it in each taco (see picture). It's very crowded here, but they are very efficient and we had our food in hand very quickly. Enjoy! Highly recommend!!

All I got to say is rural Ave in Tempe and Mill Ave in Tempe These people are going places if they follow the other two in professionalism and options The only drawback is rural avenue in Tempe has self-taps for those who like craft beer not sure about Roosevelt row Mill avenue you have to get served but nonetheless Taco boys is under something and it is damn great

Casual AUTHENTIC Mexican spot with GREAT PORTIONS + PRICE! Got recommended this from a Phoenix local friend prior to my visit. It's such a casual authentic Mexican taco spot. So glad I stopped by. You could tell the staff was likely all or mostly had Mexican heritage, and the locale played authentic Mexican music. The quality of the food is great! Super tasty and the portion size was really good for the affordable price- I was impressed! This was the most economical item that I tried during my visit to Arizona ( Phoenix/Scottsdale/Grand Canyon/Sedona). Kindly requested to package the tortillas separate from the filling as we were a bit rushed to get to the airport and would eat it there. They provide a topping station with some sauces, radishes, onions cilantro etc. The staff was super cool and offered my group some ice cream samples.

4.5 stars but rounding up for one of the better taco spots I've been to in a while. There are quite a few Taco Boy's locations in the Phoenix area, which makes sense since they serve quality tacos with large portions for very reasonable prices. Ingredients seemed very fresh, and service is speedy. Their menu is simple: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, vampiros. You can choose from 6 different proteins: asada, pastor, barbacoa, pollo, and even cabeza and tripas! I believe it was an additional $0.50 for fajitas style. It was busy at 6:30pm on a Sunday; however, the line to order was short and I received my order in about 5 minutes. I ended up trying: -Barbacoa Taco ($3.49) + Pastor Taco ($3.49) [https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_fWC6GSgaGoqIBU0QYZCOQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg]: The barbacoa was tender, but a little too lean for my preference. The pastor taco was definitely the winner, and I loved the flavor of the pastor. I tried their corn tortilla as well as their flour, and both were really good, and really thin. I probably would choose the corn over the flour just because it's homemade here, and hard to get the same quality of corn tortilla, even in the Bay Area. -Asada Vampiro ($3.49) + Pastor Vampiro ($3.49) [https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=14P16hed3GNF_C2OPHctFw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg]: The vampiro is a corn-tortilla taco that is a bit crunchy, and they have a layer of cheese on top and then a layer of protein. They did NOT skimp on the cheese here, and this is highly recommended for cheese lovers. The asada was good, but could've used more sear/crisp and a little more flavor; however, the meat was tender. The pastor was again the favorite, and I loved that it had a little grease to it. Although the vampiro was good, I would prefer trying a quesadilla the next time around. They have a complimentary salsa bar available, which included sliced cucumber and whole radishes. My favorite out of the salsas were the green avocado salsa, the roasted salsa, and the pico de gallo. Add your own diced onions and cilantro on top of your tacos; however, their pico also has diced jalapenos, but they weren't very spicy. I would definitely come back for more tacos and to give their quesadillas a try. Both indoor and outdoor seating were available. They had a small parking lot, but it doesn't have a ton of spots available. I also didn't see much street parking in this area.

Hooray! Finally got to try the famous Taco Boy's. Tried their carne asada tacos, and oh my... the meat is so fresh and flavorful, and their salsa bar is something! All their salsa tasted so fresh and good, perfect for eating with tacos and even chips! Meat was a bit salty to me as I eat my food kinda bland, but it was pretty good. I could just eat their meat! And they gave a free sample spoon of mango ice cream, this was so so so good! I should definitely come back here for other food and mango ice cream.

Taco Boys Roosevelt Serving up great tacos one at a time. Always busy and served freshly made in front of you, get your tacos and take them to the condiment bar with spicy and mild sauces and peppers. My goto is the Asada street tacos or the Asada Burrito which is the same thing, except a smaller or larger tortilla. Either way, fill it up with the salsa bar items. Will never turn down Taco Boys

What can one say really that hasn't been said. There's a reason this place is alway super busy. But line moves fairly fast. Only been there twice, late night, after Suns games. It's essentially little Mexico there, seriously, I feel like I'm in Mexicali minus the terrible emissions air quality. No español? No problemo! They speak excelente English. Be prepared to be a little assertive getting your condiments like awesome limes, peppers, salsa etc at the salsa station, because everyone around you certainly is, it's not for the weak or frail, that's for sure. The al pastor tacos rock! Their tortillas are great too. They also have these cool Mexican ice cream treats, I want try one next. It's a very lively place with great food, but it's not always that easy to get it as everyone I've been, it's packed. Really good food.
